When using the HANDICALC™ calculator, certain information is stored locally on your device to provide core functionality. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Locally stored data may include:

• Your profile (name and handicap index)
• Favourite courses
• Saved golfer information (names and handicap indexes)
• Custom courses you create
• App settings (such as country selection and display preferences)
• Cached course data for offline access

This information is stored using your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB.

3. No account or login

HANDICALC™ does not require users to create an account or log in. All handicap calculations are performed locally in your browser.

4. Anonymous analytics

Our hosting provider may collect basic, anonymous analytics data to help us understand overall website usage and improve performance.

This data:

• Is aggregated and does not identify individual users
• May include general information such as page views, approximate geographic region, device type, and browser type
• Does not include names, handicap data, or any locally stored information

5. Course data

Course rating, slope and tee information is downloaded from our servers and cached locally on your device for performance purposes. This data relates to golf course information only and does not contain personal data.

You remain in control of your data:

• All personal information is stored locally on your device
• You can edit or delete your profile at any time
• You can remove all stored data using the “Clear All My Data” option in Settings
• Clearing your browser storage will remove all HANDICALC™ data

Because personal information is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers, you retain control of that data. However, you are responsible for managing your own device security and browser settings.
